During my 30 years as an advertising agency art director, I've been lucky enough to commission some of the world's most accomplished photographers.
Among them were Helmut Newton, Don McCullin, Nadav Kander, Jean Loupe Sieff as well as many who were not as famous but still incredibly talented. The one quality they all shared was the ability to inspire.
Proof being, that after all those projects and years standing next to the camera, I decided it was time to get behind one myself and apply a little of what I'd learned to my own work.
Over time, I discovered portraiture is where my passion lays. Usually the subject has two legs but, on occasion, has four.
I'm originally from the midlands of England but now live outside Toronto with my wife and a very short, nervous Mexican named Pearl.
